A smoke release system is a system that allows smoke to escape from a building through smoke windows, improving the conditions for fire escapes in a clean path and providing firefighting teams with passage into the building.
Natural smoke release is carried out through designated openings that utilize the natural tendency of heat and smoke to rise due to temperature differences and reach the upper part of the building. When smoke is released in this way, it is called – “natural smoke release”.
When fires break out in closed buildings, the smoke and heat that accumulate in the spaces, without the possibility of exiting, are the main causes of the increase in the number of casualties and deaths.
